Cloning non-humans changes their features and enzymes. Added to that, the clone and the original scanned person seem to have shared enzymes. Changing one changes the other too.
Reproduction
Scan a non-human at the clone scanner.
Clone them. (empty or not)
Clone that comes out of the tube has different features/enzymes of the scanned person.
Scanned person now needs to do some specific thing like going under a shower, climbing a table, getting slapped, etc.
Scanned person now changes their own features/enzymes to the clone's.
If new enzymes are transfered to either of them, both change.
