Mixed entries don't work

Is it so that it is not (or no longer?) possible to write mixed entries, such as 3/2 + 50. ( = 751.955 cents) in the Scale Data window even though there are such entries in the 'Misc examples' on the Data Entry page of the User guide?
Such entries do not work.
