How is everyone finding the new 2.0-beta1?

Testing Device: M1 Pro, Sequoia 15.5, ifi-Go bar.

1. It's working, with prior "normal" issues, yay! Thanks @vincentneo!
2. When listening to a playlist of mixed tracks it behaves as before: after a new song starts with different bit depth or sample rate it plays for a few seconds and then there's a silent gap as macOS switches triggered by LosslessSwitcher.
3. I think this was as before: when jumping around on different tracks to get the vibe of different tracks it doesn't switch consistently, but seems to when you change the playhead/time.
4. Update. New issue: no quit menu item in app's menu, app isn't in Finder Force Quit menu. Only way to quit is via Activity Monitor.

It's close!
Wishes still for consistent switching, which I understand is due to Music/macOS's ancient code debts I think.

2.0-beta2 on base M4 Mac mini Sequoia 15.5.
Finally running as before.
The switching seems to happen with shorter gap than before, I did not measure it, perhaps my expectations were reset after months downgrading to LosslessSwitcher 1.0 and getting approx 1 sec switching times.

2.0-beta2 looks promising. I did not notice switching issues when transitioning to different tracks with different sample rates. I will try to pay more attention to it as I continue testing. The switching gap doesn't not happen on all tracks, I assume it is because the sample rates are the same, so there's no need to switch.

Not working at all on an M3 pro MBP. It does absolutely nothing, the bitrate stays static at 48 kHz. Tested with ifi Gryphon, B&W px8, and Airpods Max USB. Back to Qobuz. :(

Oh sorry, I left that out. It's 15.5. I seem to be the only one here for whom it's not working.

I just installed the latest 2.0-beta2 on a new M4 MacBook Air, running MacOS 15.5 (Sequoia). Using an external Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt DAC and it's detecting and switching again! Awesome fix! I will continue testing and report any problems back. Thank you for spending the time to fix this.

I also just installed the latest 2.0-beta2 on my Mac (M3 Max MBP), running MacOS 15.5 (Sequoia). I'm using a Topping DX5 II external USB DAC and I too can confirm that Beta 2 is (so far) accurately detecting and switching again!

I'll report back if I run in to any issues.

It seems that 2 beta 2 stopped working on macos 15.5 internal output.

Ivo, what do you mean by internal output? I just tested it with no external DAC attached, streaming music from Apple Music, and it is working as expected. MacOS 15.5, and Lossless Switcher Version 2.0 build 22.

Yeah, without an external DAC. Maybe the problem is because I am using Shuffle?

And I'd like to report that I had it running and forgot about it, fired up Apple Music by mistake, and got the tell-tale click-over. It's working now. There's been no restart or anything in between, it just decided to start working. Yay! 🤷🏻‍♀️
