Support of "license-files" property

pyproject.toml popery "license-files" is ignored, I use w/a and include those files:
[tool.py-build-cmake.sdist]
include = ["cmake", "python", "src", "CMakeLists.txt", "LICENSE", "README.md", "SECURITY.md", "third-party-programs.txt"]

But the "License-File" fields will not be added to metadata (

Ran into the same issue. PyPI does not support license text in classifiers anymore. Hence when using the legacy license = { file = "LICENSE" }, there is no way left to add the short license name to metadata.

include works for source distribution packages, but that key is not supported in any other py-build-cmake section, like for wheel builds, and it also would not be added to the expected sub directory in this case.

The latest pre-release (0.5.0b1) supports PEP 639 license metadata:

For a stable release, I'm waiting for distlib to release a version with proper support (pypa/distlib#247).

Distlib has been updated. Unfortunately, cibuildwheel overrides the distlib version to 0.3.9, causing dependency resolution failures if py-build-cmake requires 0.4.0. This means we'll have to wait until they release pypa/cibuildwheel#2504.
