Triton Ascend (Huawei) NPU backend support

Curious if adding Ascend NPU (Huawei NPU) backend support in triton can be a worth implementing idea for triton community? I believe this will increase triton's usage in the community to a greater scale. Huawei is also planning to open source its Ascend AI GPU software toolkit.

There is https://github.com/Ascend/triton-ascend . Currently it's heavily forked but maybe it can be organized into a third-party backend.
