@svinota Thanks for creating an issue about it. Just a bit of context. Nova is also started the work to remove the Eventlet dependencies. We are moving to native threading for now (and later maybe considering asyncio in certain places). This should not affect the nova-compute - os-vif - pyroute2 integration yet as no real changes happened in nova-compute yet regarding the Eventlet removal. But I think in the long run not having Eventlet in nova-compute will help the integration.

Let me know if you need help looking into the os-vif bug.
