Why Sponsor Me?

My work tackles gaps in the Windows ecosystem for developers who have migrated from Linux or macOS.

The majority of the software that I make available is software that you will have running every second that you are at your computer. It is software that results in a transformative experience and redefines ideas of what is possible for developers working on Windows machines.

Individual Commercial Use License vs Sponsorship

If you want to use komorebi at work, you are required to purchase an individual commercial use license.

Sponsorships on the other hand are for people for people who use my software for personal use and would like to financially support my work.

Many employers reimburse software licensing costs, so don’t forget to submit a reimbursement request to your employer with your receipt(s).

With mainstream corporate software reimbursement policies, the individual commercial license functions as a mechanism to empower end users to mediate corporate contributions to the financial sustainability of independent software - united we bargain, divded we beg.
