Whether through an adaptation of MindTagger code, or new (simple!) code, we should have a simple in-cell view for data inspection / labeling / error analysis. Goals: 1. Easily extendable; i.e. very few lines of code! 2. Fully in-cell; no external dependencies More complex and fully-featured tools should still have nice connectors / basic support, but this should be the basic default
Due by August 14, 2016•17/17 issues closedIn the mid- to long-term, we may explore more automated techniques for candidate extraction... however for now, we want to have a set of **compositional operators that users can use to define heuristic candidate extractors.** This update will include a new set of `CandidateExtractor` operator classes, a tutorial based around disease extraction (comparing to [DNorm](http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/CBBresearch/Lu/Demo/tmTools/#DNorm)) and/or chemical extraction (comparing to [tmChem](http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/CBBresearch/Lu/Demo/tmTools/#)), and a set of tests.
