When my gamepad disconect and reconect the emulator does not recognize it

Im using a dualsense(ps5 controller) my cable is bad, so if i move too much it disconect my gamepad. I just order a new usb cable c on amazon.
The only solution so far is to save state the game and close the emulator, reopen the game and then loadstate. that sucks, i think the emulator should recognize the gamepad as soon is available again. Can you fix this on future releases?

You can use "Input->Detect gamepad Changes" to reenumerate the controllers. The old api snes9x uses caused problems doing this automatically on usb changes. Maybe I'll give it another shot at some point, but for now you'll have to do this manually.
