New storage plugin is not being published

I recently developed a plugin to connect Pelican Platform data federations with Snakemake:

The plugin is also published on PyPI:

Per the documentation here, I expected the new plugin to be automatically scraped into the plugin catalog. Those docs mention watching for errors in this repo's nightly action, but it looks like that action stopped running at the start of November.

Is this what's preventing the plugin from being published?

It seems the action was disabled, but I've just re-enabled it. Wait a couple of days and check again if it got published.

EDIT: the deploy workflow gave an error on pelican:

@fgvieira, thanks for looking into this!

It looks like the deploy for Pelican is failing because the plugin currently requires python>=3.12, whereas the deploy environment uses python=3.11. Unfortunately the pelicanfs library I'm building on top of sets 3.12 as its own requirement, so I'm a bit stuck here.

Do you know how firm the 3.11 requirement is on the Snakemake side? I dug through the dependencies for pelicanfs and don't see anything that truly requires the version constraint it sets, so I'll see whether I can get the author of that library to relax the requirement.

PR #20 relaxes python version constraints and it passes the tests (and pelican works fine!), so not sure why it is set to 3.11.
