The comparation of the certificate page is a bit confusing like

Says:
A personal type certificate once expired does not unlock features in builds compiled after it expired, builds compiled before that time retain their exclusive features unlocked state.

and another page (i forgot which site it is but it is either sandboxie-plus.com or https://xanasoft.com or somewhere on github from the user sandboxie-plus) says that it is crucial to renew the certificate to make sure that certificate did not expire or else you will lose all the certificate required features. Which one is true?????

as most certificates don't have this behavior other texts may for simplicity refer only to the temporary once.

So then for example someone have data protection and then his certificate expired but he still have data protection since it was enabled before the certificate expired

With a personal type certificate: yes,
With a home, business, or family pack: no.
