The latest ubuntu version we can use with Python 3.7 according to versions manifest is 22.04 but ubuntu latest (which we currently use) is now on 24.04.
We can downgrade the ubuntu version but according to Python EOL both active and security support for 3.7 and 3.8 versions are ended. Is it better to remove support for 3.7 for now?

I updated the github action to run with ubuntu-latest for all but the 3.7 version that still is running with ubuntu 22.04.

I don't know for how long we should keep supporting old versions of python, but for the moment it is not that much effort with a nice added value :-)
