Feature request: Use system notifications for update notifications so as to avoid stealing focus

Bug description

It's now happened to me twice that I was in the middle of a real-time activity and Quicksilver interrupted the entire operating system to show its update notification.

This is usually not an issue, but can be extremely disruptive in the middle of, say, a competitive online game match.

I think it would be much more appropriate to use the native OS notification system for this now.

Steps to reproduce

1. Use your computer like normal.
2. Get interrupted out of nowhere.

Expected behavior

A notification system that doesn't steal focus.

I'm going try out "Check for updates: On Launch", but this feels like an inappropriate workaround. If I don't restart my computer/QS in a while, I'd still like to get updates.

(In addition, the UI can be busy at OS launch, and QS adding to the fray is not desirable in that case.)

Are there any other notifications of concern? Or is it just the notification for updates that you're concerned about?

I don't think I get any other notifications from Quicksilver? At this point, I think if I hadn't been using Quicksilver for a decade and a half I'd be a bit surprised and dismayed that it was displaying any notifications that weren't native.

(Which is to say, I recognize there are reasons things are as they are and I'm happy using Quicksilver as it is. But I'd still like it to be more up to date with macOS!)

Fair enough -- I'm unaware of any others, just wondering if this was presenting a bigger issue than I realized.

I actually quite dislike the native macos and iOS notification system, but I can see how one might be expecting this behavior.
