The current implementation looks for specific dependencies in all the project configurations, while it should be searching for them in a specific the ApplicationModel.
Another issue is that the current impl won't be compatible with the upcoming changes in the Gradle plugin.
There are no tests in our testsuite for this task, atm, but i tested deploy still works manually on my machine.
