Today, I tried to create a blank issue, but I'm unable to. If I click New Issue, I see this:

How to Reproduce

1. Try to create an issue.
2. Be stymied.
3. Fill out a bunch of irrelevant details in a bug report.

In 05bd74c, I fixed the issue, but @webknjaz asked why, so now I find myself re-evaluating the decision (reverted in 1a6cfbd).

I tried webknjaz's suggestion to just manually navigate to issues/new, but that doesn't work. It always forwards to the chooser.

I might be open to that, but honestly, it feels like less work (and less config) to rely simply on the default behavior.
