Remote magit is broken with envrc-remote

I guess this is a known issue because it's mentioned in a tramp support patch. When envrc-remote is enable, I cannot load magit any more, there is an error message after I hit ctrl-g. Not sure if it's relevant.

Error in post-command-hook (magit-section-post-command-hook): (wrong-type-argument (or eieio-object cl-structure-object oclosure) nil)

For anyone blocked by this issue, I created an alternative envrc-global-mode that ignores any magit buffer:

Same issue. envrc-global-mode should exclude magit-mode buffer, I think.

How are you setting things up here? With envrc-global-mode and envrc-remote enabled, envrc-mode enables itself without errors in magit-status-mode buffers for me, so it's not clear how to reproduce what you're reporting. Which Emacs/Magit versions? Platform? (I'm on MacOS, Emacs 30.2, latest magit.) Is this only when interrupting a long-running direnv initialisation with C-g?
