Dock behaves oddly when it only contains the Minimized Windows applet #502
Description
If the only applet on the dock is Minimzed Windows, the dock won't appear even if there are minimized windows. If it is set to not automatically hide, there is an empty space showing where the dock would be, but smaller than the dock's actual size.
With another applet on the dock:
With only the Minimzed Windows Applet, the dock disappears (which is fine, since it has nothing to display), but the space between the bottom of the opened window and the bottom of the screen is reduced by a seemingly arbitrary amount::
After minimizing a window, the dock remains invisible:
Adding an applet to the dock makes it behave normally again:
But if I remove that applet an unminize the minimzed window, the dock gets squished, and the title of the window sticks around just above the dock:
On another display, the dock is not squished but part of it seems to be outisde the screen:
Except for the last screenshot, all screenshots were taken on a 1440p display scaled at 125%+5%, with the last screenshot being from a 1080p display scaled at 100%.
