Unable to open web URLs #97

@codemedic

Description

@codemedic

It seems command line tools are unable to open URLs when running within ghostty.

For example, clone a repo from github using gh. From within the directory the repo was cloned to, run gh browse. I would expect the default browser to open up the github web UI for the repo but it doesn't. If I try the same command from a different terminal app, it works as expected.

I know that there has been some recent changes in ghostty in this area. Please see ghostty-org/ghostty#5988

I am unable to verify whether the issue is definitely with the Appimage build (permissions etc) or ghostty itself (no 22.04 deb packages available for newer versions). Sorry!
