Any thoughts on this at all about how to show the HDA's you can select?

I have a few ideas, I just don't want to step on anything you're working on.

Not looking into this actively right now(will be focused on heightfields->texture conversion next). My initial thought was just to have a basic list resource in the project which stores the names of available hdas. When the selection changed singal is called, we could check if an hda is already assigned, and if not, prompt the user to select one. Alternatively/additionally a simple drop down in the bottom panel.

A more advanced, but probably user friendlier approach, would be to actually allow importing HDAs into the project and somehow support dragging/dropping them into the level to create a HEGoNode3D automatically, but that seems like a disproportionate amount of work that could be spent elsewhere, and I'm kinda conflicted on the whole concept of importing HDAs to begin with(even if just used for name ref, in Unreal, there's always the confusion of cached vs hou path)

Ya, it seems confusing because it doesn't really so much matter what you have imported into Godot either, since it's just using what's available to Houdini.

One thought I had was:
We do have a way through the HAPI to grab all the Libraries and then all the HDA within those libraries. Maybe we could also provide an option to only show certain HDAs and then we have the resource browser that could work nicely here.

This way we can grab and cache the hda list from houdini based on the filter defined in the project settings for hego.
Then show those HDA?

Yep, that seems like a good idea. I guess a question is how to tag HDAs to show - either naming convention or some sort of hidden parm with a tag I'd imagine. Or am I overlooking some other way to tag/group assets that would be accessible from hapi?

Another question is if this causes any sort of delay, but I'd imagine it should be quick? Just worried since it might be thousands of HDAs to query in some peoples setups.
