Add commit hash to the data returned by `--version`

Recently, the commit hash was added to the data sent to telemetry. This should also be returned by --version

Hi there. Sorry, not sure what has happened here - I had been preparing a solution to this issue myself yesterday after previously assigning it to myself!

Anyway, I have a slightly more complicated fix, but it gives the full version name identical to that used in telemetry, so including the platform.
