installation with curl does Not work but wget script works just fine

I can not include the exact error because I installed nvm with wget but it complained about "(" or ")" on line 173 in bash, and something else, sorry, it said also I should report

What did you expect to happen?

Is there anything in any of your profile files that modifies the PATH?

If you are having installation issues, or getting "N/A", what does curl -I --compressed -v https://nodejs.org/dist/ print out?
