nix store shared with host #56
Description
I see there is a /nix/store and it is the same as the host, when using a debian 13 vm. (example from getting-started.md)
I have a few questions about this
- Can I control whether or not I can mount the /nix/store?
- i tried detsys installer inside but fails due to /nix/store being read-only for it.
- I tried official installer too but it is not working
- Even if I somehow install nix in the guest, with the host's read-only /nix/store still present, I think it won't allow installing things in the guest?
- or am I supposed to not use nix installed from inside the guest but make do with host's installed nix?
Also an unrelated thing to this issue, in docs/refrence.md sandbox needs to be sandboxed everwhere.
