/opt/distrod/bin/distrod enable --start-on-windows-boot doesn't work

[Distrod][ERROR] Failed to initialize the rootfs.

Caused by:
    0: Failed to update /etc/hosts.
    1: Failed to read hosts file 'HostPath("/etc/hosts")'.
    2: stream did not contain valid UTF-8
