The commandline switch -g is deprecated and should be replaced with --location=global.

Fixes #4980

@flensrocker Thanks for this! We ended up doing an unscheduled release [email protected] today in order to un-deprecrate global as it was a mistake to do so in the first place. Here is that PR. #4982
