Threading Mode: Older messages in a conversation are not shown, only visible in non-threaded view

Steps to reproduce

1 .Enable “Threaded view” in Display mode.
2. Navigate to a conversation with several messages.
3. Older messages do not appear in the message pane.

When switching to “List individual messages only” (non-threaded view), all messages are visible, including those missing before.

This makes it look like messages disappeared, but they are only hidden by the threaded view.

Expected behavior

All messages belonging to the thread should be shown in the conversation view.

Actual behavior

When the “Grouped messages / Threaded view” display mode is enabled, opening a conversation only shows some of the messages.

Older messages belonging to the same thread are missing in the conversation view, even though they are present on the server.

The thread appears incomplete, as if the older messages do not exist.

Switching the display mode to “Show individual messages only” immediately shows all messages correctly, including those that were missing in the grouped/threaded view.

Could you please clarify if it looks like in the screenshot

and the message header is there and just the content is missing or you don't see some messages at all?

Hello, yes, it looks the same for me.
Only the message content is not displayed. The header is there.

That should be fixed by 5.5.15. Did you try a hard refresh and if that doesn't help, please look at the browser's console for errors?
