xorgxrdp-glamor with virtualbox-guest-utils (VirtualBox Arch VM)

Hello!

Thank you so much for creating and maintaining this software.

I have Arch setup in a VirtualBox VM and with Suckless DWM.

I was having issues getting DWM working, the graphics were messed up.

Installing the virtualbox-guest-utils solved this graphical issue for me, yay!

Now I'm using xrdp and xorgxrdp-glamor, the connection works and I can interact with the machine, but I have the exact same display issue I had before installing virtualbox-guest-utils (both situations look like the image above).

Can you advise on how I might modify things to get it working with the graphics provided by virtualbox-guest-utils?

No real ideas I'm afraid.

You could try the xorgxrdp AUR package instead of the xorgxrdp-glamor package. Version 0.10.0-5 fixes a few problems which earlier versions had.

I've not seem glamor work on these VM virtual GPUs. If you can get glamor working with the modesetting driver on the VM console, then I would say it's possible.
