👋 Hello, I'm Neil

DevOps Architect | Cloud Infrastructure | PhD in Distributed Systems

I'm a Senior DevOps Eng. with over 10 years of experience designing scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure in both telecom-grade and cloud-native environments.

🔧 My background blends deep industrial research insight (PhD in distributed architectures, with awarded innovation in IoT orchestration) and hands-on operational expertise (CI/CD, hybrid cloud, SRE, and DevSecOps).

I focus on:

  • 🌐 Building robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Internal Clouds APIs, Terraform, and AWS
  • 🔐 Embedding security and observability at every layer (DevSecOps, monitoring, alerting)
  • ⚙️ Migrating legacy infrastructure to resilient, automated systems
  • 👥 Leading teams and mentoring engineers in fast-moving environments

I'm currently:

  • 🛠️ Experimenting with public telco projects, cloud-native telemetry, and SRE automation
  • 🚀 Exploring ideas around edge orchestration, upcoming Telco standards
  • 💻 Testing 'in-development' software and hardware telco products
