Hi, I applied several enhancements to your wonderful work in order to implement a plugin for Obsidian.md (you can find it here: https://github.com/Canna71/obsidian-sheets)
Sorry for the poor quality of the commit names, I didn't know if I was actually going to make a PR, but here I am just in case you are interested
Basically the enhancements are in the following areas:
I tried to keep everything backward compatible but please check before merging.
