I no not believe it does. It depends on if you are using it as a client or a server.

As a server server you would listen for the clients on(event: "authentication", listener: (context: AuthContext) => void): this; event which would allow you to store the authentication context yourself.

that is to say, ssh2 won't store credentials itself. there is a project named webssh2, i found it will store credentials somewhere, but i can't find it out. it use express-session to handle the session data. In default, session data is in memory, but the real behavior confused me.
