I have nothing against adding these, but I have so far avoided adding any app specific properties since there are quite a lot of them and it would add quite a bit of complexity to the loader to support them all.

On the other hand, if we do decide it's OK to support these types of properties then it should be possible to get physical materials from 3DS Max, which would be 👌

I just added app specific properties that matched our materials.

OK, that's no problem.

Let's take an approach like "OK to add app specific features as long as it's trivial to do so" and see how that goes.
