@Royalharsh this may collide with some of the clean up I'm doing, with you permission, i will copy them and port them to the new interface strategy |

Please consider #313 as a port of these changes to reflect the new DB interfacing strategy, which I think is a bit cleaner than the first iteration and makes unit-testing much easier to do at various levels in the code. |
