Python 3.6 is EOL and no longer receiving security updates (or any updates) from the core Python team.

I didn't realize GitHub was going to merge the main branch into this one. Super irritating.

I undid that and then rebased against the main branch and then force-pushed into your branch. Super sorry about that.

If you initially updated this using the "Update branch" button, there's now also an option to "Update with rebase":

I saw that and that's why I was bummed I messed up somehow and did a merge commit. I'll get it the next time (hopefully).
