obsidian armour does not show over skin

when i place obsidian armour from 3d armour it does not show up on skin.

Do you have any other mods installed?

i had obsidian swords enabled. The armour pack was part of that mod I think. Maybe its not compatible with 3d armour cause I got rid of obsidian swords and that particular armour disappeared in the inventory.
