This was due to lack of time to support ".msi" versions. As winget now supports simple portable ".exe" I'd like it back with some simple id like "aloneguid.bt" please.

This installer file was automatically build with GitHub Workflows, using cpack. You also define how cpack works in bt/CMakeLists.txt, using WiX as a generator. What's wrong with the generated .msi? Since it's automatically built, I think it's no need to spend extra time to "support" it?

We would recommend using the .msi installer as it will write ARP entries as you defined. For portable ZIP archives, written ARP entries might not match what you expected.
