Summary of the new feature/enhancement

Now that a modern desktop PCs comes with a ton of RAM, it would be awesome to have a MS-supported RAM-disk solution. Modern SSDs are fast, but not a match for a fast DDR4 unit.

It could be used as a:

• "transient" tmp folder
• storage for compilation artifacts/system headers directory(build time improvements, yay!)
• any HDD-intensive application

Also It might be able to automatically copy some folder on it on Windows startup and periodically write-back changes.

Bumping this as I also had this idea without being aware that it was proposed before. We could perhaps use ImDisk as a starting point with author's permission. We could start with some very basic functionality and then add more features between PT releases.
