Could not find a declaration file for module '@materializecss/materialize'

Could you please provide details how to install typescript type definitions for this project?

Currently there are only materialize-css @types available.

We wish to switch from materialize-css to this one.

Unfortunately, this library don't haves official support for TypeScript. There is only @types/materializeCSS as you mentioned, which supports only 1.0.0 and is maintained by the DefinitelyTyped team.

Moreover, materialize won't work easily with recent frameworks (such as vueJS, because materialize manipulates directly the DOM).

I'm closing this issue because we cannot solve this currently. The DefinitelyTyped team is the appropriate group who can help you since they created it.

But Typescript support is definitely a point we have to consider for the 2.0 version

Hello guys, I know it's been some time since the last message (and that this issue is already closed), but I'd like to share with you the type definitions for this package.

I have submitted it to DefinitelyTyped just now.

You can install it by running the command npm i -D @types/materializecss__materialize .

Those definitions were based on the previous materialize-css but applying changes specified at v1.1.0-a release changelog.
