Unable to complete the upgrade to .44

when i try to upgrade to .44 i have errors in nextcloud section

Problem

Upgrade was not successful - Nextcloud 17.0.2 could not be downloaded (timed out) and installed
Webmail, Contacts and Calendar are not reachable anymore.
(IMAP, SMTP works)

Upgrade mail in a box from 0.43 to 0.44
on a virtual server

Additional Comments

tried to manually "sudo wget -O /tmp/nextcloud.zip https://download.nextcloud.com/server/releases/nextcloud-17.0.2.zip" (which was slow, but successful)
and restart installation again, but failed again.

They are definitely having problems serving files as downloads are very slow.

What happens when you re-run the setup?

Agree - problem is on the Nextcloud download site. Tried a "wget" from multiple different machines but always the same behavior - either download "never" starts or downloads are extremely slow (< 10 kB/s).

I had the same (actually I killed the wget process because it was taking so long) and was able to restart the setup and everything went back to normal after I patiently waited for the download to finish.

it seems quite certain like an issue with nextcloud. even downloads for the desktop clients are taking ages.
I reverted back to my previous snapshot with 0.43 and will wait, till nextcloud servers are working properly again.

//edit: I tried it again and it worked, but the whole process took me more than an hour just for downloading NextCloud 16 and NextCloud 17

I had this issue last night, 2 round of waiting 45 minutes for a broken pipe error. Decided t call it a night.

Woke up and did the following, logged in, updated packages, restarted, ran install script, took 45 seconds or so and boom done just fine.

Im thinking they had files down last night or something on nextcloud's side.
