Motivation
KTOR-8193 OutputStreamChannel block request processing
Solution
I attempted to provide a new
OutputStreamimplementation for wrapping theByteChannelthat performs writes in a non-blocking way. Instead of blocking on every write, we block only on flush after filling up our buffer. This should improve the thread blocking when using the java types for response streaming, but due to the nature of the problem we can't avoid it completely.
