I guess @kakaroto is right and old code would work. This extra ordering / validation will not do anything useful as it wont solve/help to mitigate the multiple valid interfaces issue |

Kinda reverting to the old coding but instead of just selecting the first interface (no guarantee that its the right one), I'm excluding invalid interfaces and ordering by most probable local ip-ranges.
