Completely unneeded. Use git hub for git workflow if you need some client-side automation (in fact I don't use it and manage everything by hand and feel OK. In fact I just have a repo and a script rebasing all the my branches over master).
I vote for rejecting this PR.

The script is too specific to this repo. Take a look at https://github.com/yakshaveinc/linux/blob/master/bin/amend-pr.sh to write a generic script that can be used for any repository, |
