New typing indicator hides new messages

Description

The new typing indicator added in #232 looks great.

However, when an AI persona begins replying immediately to a new message, the new message is hidden under the typing indicator:

Maybe the chat panel should automatically scroll when a new message is added.

IIRC it is (was) the case when the last message is in the viewport.
But I don't think that there is a test for it, so maybe it was already broken...
