Footnote offset after pause in Beamer

Using pandoc 2.8

I'm having exactly the same issue as discussed in #1019

The symptom described in that issue is still identical, therefore you can use that as a MWE.

The discussion in that issue didn't lead to a conclusion from what I could see, so I created an issue on Beamer to bring this up with them. josephwright/beamer#565

The problem is that pandoc translates this into \footnote<.->{...} instead of \footnote<.(1)->{...} (as @dbitouze suggested)

So I gather

\footnote<.(1)->{Bar.}

should be used if it's after one pause,

\footnote<.(2)->{Bar.}

after two, etc? I don't really understand the beamer syntax here.

@jgm To uncover footnotes together with pauses the syntax @louisstuart96 suggested in josephwright/beamer#565 (comment) is probably the simplest solution

Just be careful that sometimes other syntax might be required, see e.g. josephwright/beamer#565 (comment)
