### Body of the issue

The bare metal install guide should be adjusted to reflect the same approach as the installer.

- Install paths should be the same
- Match proxy setup
- Match database setup

Ideally the docker setup should be changed too, so that the install paths are consistent across all install methods.

This should be done after the 1.0.0 release
