Hi, I’m Imirie! I'm a senior Computer Science student at the University of Maryland, one of the top-ranked CS programs in the US. I have a passion for front-end development, although I am open to pursuing any computer science field to acquire a a more well-rounded professional skill set. Additionally to Computer Science, I'm minoring in Sustainability Studies, and I graduated from the Science and Global Change Scholars program.
Many of my repositories are private as they contain programs I've worked on for classes. If you would like to see these projects, please contact me at my work email: [email protected].
I have private repositories of all my work in these classes that you can request:
- CMSC131 - Object-Oriented Programming I
- CMSC132 - Object-Oriented Programming II
- CMSC216 - Introduction to Computer Systems
- CMSC330 - Organization of Programming Languages
- CMSC335 - Web Application Development with JavaScript
I am just as committed to my hobbies as I am to my career! I love to athletic and workout. In fact, I am an executive member and player for my club rugby team🏉! My other hobbies include reading📙, playing the guitar🎸, and playing video games🎮!
I have a lot of ideas for future projects to create which encompass a wide range of skills, not only front-end developing. Here are some of them:
- Love Letter App - A full-stack application for creating a sending personalized digital love letters as an alternative to mailing love letters. The app aims to give a homemade, personalized feel to digital messages. I plan to develop this using JavaScript, Electron.js, and a database (either MongoDB or Firebase).
- Conway's Game of Life Simulation - The name is exactly what it is. I am fascinated by Conway's Game of Life, and want to create a simulation to replicate it.
- Simple workflow application - For internship I am interested in.
- Azure, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Web Services, Graph API, REST API
- Agile
