Current Situation

With iOS 18 providing support for robot vacuums can the plugin be modified to advertise the accessory as a robot vacuum rather than set of switches and sensors?

That is exciting! It doesn't look like Homebridge has added support yet so I think we're waiting for that.

Apparently robot vacuum support in Matter is out in 18.4 which is due for release next week.

Homebridge won't add support for it as it's only implemented in Matter (Homebridge doesn't support Matter).
