High CPU usage and temperature on upgrade to 0.17.8 from 0.17.7

Hi, I updated to version v0.17.8 at 5:45am this morning and immediately following the upgrade CPU usage and temperature jumped. Restoring v0.17.7 from backup restored CPU usage and temperature back to normal. No other changes to system were made other than the upgrade to AppDaemon v0.17.8.

I experienced exactly the same CPU usage and temp increase in both my prod and dev instances.

Prod System specs

Lenovo P330 i7 8700T
64GB RAM

Installation method = Home Assistant OS
Core = 2025.7.4
Supervisor = 2025.07.3
Operating System = 16.0
Frontend = 20250702.3

Dev System specs

Lenovo M710q i5 8500T
32GB RAM

Lenovo Installation method = Home Assistant OS
Core = 2025.8.0
Supervisor = 2025.08.0
Operating System = 16.1.rc1
Frontend = 20250806.0

Same here, CPU usage jump even after restore in 0.17.7. I think this problem is here since I upgraded to HA 2025.8.0

Ok, I found a solution -> production_mode: true and threadpool_workers: 10 in the appdaemon.yaml.

appdaemon:
..production_mode: true
..threadpool_workers: 10

There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently, so we clean up some of the older and inactive issues.
