QR Reader Not Working on Mobile Chrome Browser

Describe the bug
The QR code reader does not work on the Mobile Chrome browser. There are no errors in the browser log. Even the official live demo does not work.

Note: On the same device, the QR code reader works in Firefox, both in my application and in the official demo.

To Reproduce
To reproduce, try running the official live demo on Mobile Chrome.

Smartphone :

• Device: SM-S911B
• OS: Android 14; SM-S911B Build/UP1A.231005.007
• Browser: Chrome
• Version: Chrome 133.0.6943.121

After encountering the issue, I tried resetting my phone, but the problem persists.

It is working again today with Chrome 133.0.6943.137

I encountered a similar issue. I found that when scanning fails, vue-qrcode-reader is using window.BarcodeDetector. When I switched to Firefox, vue-qrcode-reader used zxing-wasm instead, and everything worked fine.

The native API on Mac has tons of issues. I wonder whether it's worth it at all or we should just always use the polyfill.

It would be nice to add an option to force use the polyfill. I currently patch this package to work with my phone.

I think just always using the polyfill is a sane default until the native API is more reliable across browsers. I merged a fix.
