Mentors and mentorship

The goal of mentorship in the GraphQL project would be as quoted from @bignimbus "...get them quickly from zero to one." Mentorship can apply to coding projects, marketing efforts, ambassador roles and documentation projects.

Build a list of volunteers that are willing to serve as mentors. The list would include

Going through the LF Mentorship program (https://lfx.linuxfoundation.org/tools/mentorship/) which is linked from the homepage you suggested, it looks like these are more like paid positions with termly applications and goals.

While I'm very much on the side of joining in LF initiatives - seeing as GraphQL Foundation is a member - I'm not sure if this is what you're thinking of?

Is it more like peer-to-peer mentorship you're thinking of? How best could we facilitate this?
