Native Windows on ARM build?

Currently to use Closure Compiler on Windows on ARM, one has to install Java SDK (version 21, as version 24 is too new).

I wonder if there might be plans to support a compiled version of Closure Compiler on Windows on ARM? That would help the Emscripten project to avoid having to ship Java SDK on Windows on ARM.

We use Graal native-images to create binaries. Graal does not support cross-compilation, so the first requirement would be for GitHub to support a Window ARM runner.

Beyond the technical step, there would need to be enough demand to justify maintenance of yet another npm package. We only just started supporting clousre-compiler on arm-based linux.

Btw what's the story with Arm vs Intel Macs? I don't see there being both versions in npm at least. Is https://www.npmjs.com/package/google-closure-compiler-osx a fat binary that contains both?

X86 Mac OS binaries can run with rosetta on ARM Macs. However, the newer MacOS runners are ARM builds so recent builds are arm only. Intel Macs will require Java.
