[Feature Request] Different padding for alternate screen applications

I am coming from WezTerm where I have been using the following plugin, nekowinston/wezterm-smartpadding, to remove the window padding when a fullscreen (alternate screen) application such as vim or less is focused.

Here is a demo of it in WezTerm.
